I really enjoyed this one. I found the storyline fun, fresh, and unique and while it had it's fair share of steamy sexy times there was much more to the story. Two years ago Nik Masterton thought he had found a girl that wanted more from him than his money. Was he ever wrong. That was evident when he woke up one morning and Summer Delaney was not only gone but so was a substantial amount of his money. After two years of looking he's found her and sets up his plan of revenge. A book not to be missed. I highly recommend it.

'Blackmailing the Bad Girl' by Nina Croft is the story of Nik Masterton and Summer Delaney. Summer went to prison after being charged with embezzlement and she was just getting out when Nik was parked outside to pick her up. Summer had worked for Nik once at his company and they both started to have feelings for one another. But Summer, who at the time was going by Sarah, up and left Nik and the company. It appears she also took some of the companies money but Nik wasn't able to find her until now. Nik thinks to get some revenge against Summer for taking the money and also for how his ex-wife just wanted money from him too. Nik now thinks that is what all women want. Summer has had a hard time growing up in and out of foster care with just Danny as a friend. But Summer as sworn to change her life and now Nik is trying to settle this thing between them. This book had some ups and downs but overall I enjoyed it! "My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."

Loved this book! Summer is a bad girl who did two years in prison for her crime and was released with good intentions and a plan. Instead of her friend greeting her at the gate, she sees Nik, the CEO that misrepresented himself and that she stole from. He coerces her into leaving with him, then presents her with his plan and threatens her with what he'll do if she doesn't comply. Based on the blackmail alone, I really wanted to hate Nik, but I just couldn't. He's just too great a character to hate and has compelling reasons for his actions. Then Summer, a bad girl, has even more compelling reasons for her actions. Put the two of them together and they have lots of interesting interactions with both assuming they understand the other. Add in the sizzling chemistry, and you have a novel that I just couldn't put down. This is a must read for fans of the genre. The author is on my must read authors' list.
