I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I was disappointed in the book. I didn't like the pre-marital sex (wasn't described ,only mention of being in bed) or the use of the LORD's name in vain. I am sorry but I didn't finish the book

Two very different loves stories but both helped along by a true friend. In the first it took a tricky father and a duke to see things coming together for our young couple. In the second book it was an article that reunited a man and his wife and oh yes the article had been about the man’s close friend the duke. They were truly charming tales and quick reads too. I found the author’s notes very interesting. This is a very welcome addition to my library.

HEA for whom? John, Dinah, Jacob and Lydia are all part of this book, a prelude to the Book about the Duke of Halmesbury. The action is quick and the pages fly by as if time stood still during my reading of these novellas. There are three questions I needed answered when I started this book. Who are John and Diana? Why were Jacob and Lydia separated for such a long time and what does the Duke have to do with any of it? It was real worth my read and I look forward to more of this talented author's writing. About the author

Nina started writing her own stories in elementary school but quickly grew distracted when she finished school and moved on to non-profit work with recovering drug addicts. There she worked with people from every walk of life from privileged neighborhoods to the shanty towns of urban and rural South Africa.

One day she met a real life romantic hero. She instantly married her fellow bibliophile and moved to the USA where she enjoyed a career as a sales coaching executive at an Inc 500 company. She currently lives with her husband on the Florida Gulf Coast.

Nina believes in kindness and the indomitable power of the human spirit. She is fascinated by the amazing, funny people she has met across the world who dared to change their lives. She likes to tell mischievous tales of life-changing decisions and character transformations while drinking excellent coffee and avoiding cookies.
