About this eBook

A bullet-blazing saga of the West—and the hard men who fought for its spoils

THE BIG MAN

Dakota Jones was big—a big-fisted, big-boned man with a temper big enough for a dozen mountain men.

Sam Hargadine was his opposite—a gambler whose icy self-control was his greatest weapon. But Sam needed Dakota. Only he could lead a wagon train of liquor, women and gold over the stretch of hell between them and Deadwood.

So Dakota was in charge—and he wasn't about to take a backward step...even when the scalp-hungry Sioux swept down from the hills...even when a gang of vicious guns decided they had the bullets to cut a big man down to size....
