Such a delicious read this book was for me. I love magical ✨ things and love stories. This was a refreshing story and breaks up my monotony of genres recently read. Not Your Ex's Hexes reminds me of Charmed, Supernatural, and Vampire Diaries. There is a little bit of 90s references, sassy caddy girl things (that just make you laugh), and an overall feel that lets you be a part of the family, the love connection between the main characters, and the plot.

A witch looking for her purpose and a demon veterinarian find themselves tangling up the sheets and making things difficult for each other. He was hexed by his teenage girlfriend and if he falls in love, he loses his human side and his ability to love. He cannot resist her at all nor can she, him. Spicy and fun novel. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I agreed to read and review this book. This romantic comedy had me a LOLing so many times. Then there were the parts concerning animal abuse that had me almost crying. The thing that really made me love this story were the references to supernatural shows that I have watched and loved. Our main characters were a female witch and a male half-demon. There was a lot of chemistry between these two, but they both had issues with relationships. But, in the end, they ended up getting their HEA.

APRIL ASHER was hooked on romantic stories from the time she first snuck a bodice-ripper from her mom's bedside table. By day, April dons dark blue nursing scrubs and drinks way too much caffeine. By night, she still consumes too much caffeine, but she does it with a laptop in hand. She pens romantic comedies with a paranormal twist, but also writes high-octane romantic suspense as April Hunt. She lives out her own happily-ever-after with her college-sweetheart husband and their two children.
