Alex stops by Brooks Books to see an old college friend, Mia. He has always wanted to apologize for the argument they had and a chance at love. He is an accomplished author exactly what Mia needs. He has a chance to help her unfortunately things don’t go as planned. A great read for the holidays! Mia and Alex are meant for each other and you can’t help but hope they work out. An ex husband that you hate! I received an arc and this is my honest review.

Love is in the air again for Mia and Alex-college friends who never acknowledged how they felt about each other. Alex, seeing Mia on TV, is determined to find and finally win her heart. He is helped by her scheming sister, Del. The fibs they concoct and Alex’s own start piling up and could be the cause of Alex losing Mia forever. Cute story about lies, telling the truth, and love. A heartfelt friends to lovers/reunion romance. After Mia’s divorce, she wasn’t interested in dating. But her sister has other ideas when Mia’s old college friend shows up in town. In school, Mia and Alex both had a crush on each other, but they never acted on it as Mia was already dating someone. Seventeen years later, they are reunited. But Alex has a secret and it could ruin their newly found relationship. I enjoyed every bit of this book. It was fun, emotional and a great love story.
