One More Shameless Night

Though book 3 in Lili Valente’s Dirty Twisted Love series did give us an amazing finish, that is no cliffhanger, I was still left wanting more of Clay and Harley’s love story. So when Lili announced she was going to give us One More Shameless Night, I was so excited and just couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. It is now a year later and Clay and Harley are married. They have added a new little baby boy to their family and are heading to her sister’s house who has offered to babysit so Clay and Harley can have some alone time together. But when secrets are kept and threats from both of their pasts unsuspectingly reappear, both Clay and Harley again find themselves in situations of impending danger. Will this be the end of the new life they have finally achieved together, or will they find their way out and back into each other’s arms? This is an absolutely fantastic finale to Clay and Harley’s roller coaster love story. The sparks from the unfaltering electrical current of passion shared between them still oozes from the pages. Once again, Lili Valente has given us another entertaining and gripping tale. And if you didn’t think it was possible for Ms. Lili to outdo herself, to top it all off she gave us a few more moments with Jackson and Hannah. YAY! She totally hit this one out of the park. I really enjoyed spending time with all of these characters again and seeing how their lives have evolved into the happily-ever-afters that they deserved and that I always love.

One More Shameless Night is book 4 in the Dirty Twisted Love series and can be read as a standalone, but if you haven't read the other books in the series, go and get them! I love serials and happily ever after's and I love Lili so this is a win win for me. Clay and Harley are visiting Hannah and Jackson after one year of marriage and a new baby. They are going to get away for a night for a Midsummer celebration of steamy sex in hopes of reconnecting. They never really let their guard down and always see things lurking in the shadows. But, this is just what Harley needs to feel sexy, desired and wanted again. Clay says all the right words, does all the perfect things and shows her just how much he loves her. They are both keeping secrets that are about to show up and haunt them. Will they work as a team to get out of the trap? Or will the secrets end their night and possibly more? I loved this story. I loved seeing where they are now and that they are still sexy and funny. Lili is the Queen of erotic romance and she writes sex, love, humor, sass and suspense better than anyone! We asked and wow did Lili deliver us an amazing conclusion to Harley and Clay's story! This story is not simply a happily ever after... but does it ever tie up some loose ends (and creates some too). There are so many twists and turns that I don't want to give anything away other than you will want to have time to sit and devour this story. Yes, at one point, I had to take a deep breath scared to keep turning the pages, but wow, what an incredible book! Loved it!!!
