Riding Steele

What a rush! Carew’s hot & steamy writing combines with this intensely suspenseful story to create something unforgettable. She takes the world of Ready to Ride to a whole new level with this novel, developing the plot far beyond what we’d seen in the previous novellas, and giving readers the fast paced ride of a lifetime. Sensuality and sexuality rule the day, adding to the intensity of the story. I loved getting to know Steele better. The events in his past come to light in a way that really highlights who he is today. His caring nature wars with his need to be dominant, creating the ultimate, alpha biker. Laurie’s personal growth and self-discovery throughout was quite enlightening. It made her seem so real. Her vulnerability contrasts with and highlights Steele’s strength like nothing else could. Carew also delves deeper into the rest of the bikers in this first full length novel of her Ready to Ride series. I appreciated how much fuller the story became once the others were more well-rounded individuals. Carew had me hooked from beginning to end with this one. It was a complex and fascinating tale that was also hot as sin.
