3.25 stars. This short story is male lead POV, well written, and a contemporary fantasy, erotic, open romance. I enjoyed Khell’s approach to life and his calmness in a new situation. I enjoyed the speed with which he acclimatised to his environment and the relationship he developed with Anna. I enjoyed the varied intimate engagements Khell participated in. I don’t particularly care for open relationships and this affected my rating but this well written tale may suit you.

A coven of witches captures an unsuspecting demon, harvesting his life force in a series of intimate encounters in order to use it in a ritual to end a deadly pandemic. It becomes a rather business-like situation except for one young, sweet witch who has caught his eye. This is a quick read with a unique premise, quirky characters, and a HEA. This is entertaining and the romantic feelings are evident. The heat is definitely on, though I missed the part that this was a harem adventure but they seem happy with this lifestyle. Not sure how this is considered as a holiday themed story although I may have been to caught up in the steamy sessions. :) I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
