A multidisciplinary approach to the problems related to the diagnosis, treat ment, and rehabilitation of patients with oral cancer and precancer is reflected in the various specialties of the authors who contributed to this book. It should be emphasized that treatment policies may vary not only in differ ent parts of the world, but also from institution to institution, depending on the expertise of the members of the oncologic team and the available facilities.
