About the author
Marie Merburg wurde in Süddeutschland geboren und zog nach dem Studium mit ihrer Familie in die Nähe von Heilbronn, wo sie auch heute noch lebt. Für ihre Romane hat sie sich die deutsche Ostseeküste als Schauplatz ausgesucht, weil sie von der Landschaft und den Menschen dort fasziniert ist. Unter dem Namen Janine Wilk schreibt die Autorin auch erfolgreich Kinder- und Jugendbücher.
