Edir Macedo is a bestselling author of over 50 books—including "In the Footsteps of Jesus", which has sold over three million copies, and the "Nothing to Lose" trilogy, a publishing phenomenon that sold one and a half million copies before the third volume was released. He holds doctorates in Theology, Christian Philosophy, and Divinity. He started a missionary endeavour in the 70s that led to what is now known as the Universal Church.
