About this eBook

She’s got two strikes against her.

Her name is Erickson and her parents own The Bagel Place.

It wasn’t always that way. When we were nine, we were best friends. But then a feud between our dads ripped their successful business apart—and my best friend was ripped away too.

Our paths were bound to cross again. When both our families vie for the same spot on a Food Channel’s reality show, the producers decide to change the format, aligning us as allies.

In order to get our parents to agree to work together, Evan asks me to pretend to be her boyfriend, but I dare her to up the ante—be my fiancée. Fake fiancée… obviously.

As usual, I didn’t think things through. Turns out our parents have a lot of demands neither one of us expected.  And all those demands lead to things feeling more real than fake.

All I need is a Piper Rayne novel to brighten up my day. Evan and Seth are a hoot and a half. Move over Romeo and Juliet because Seth and Evan are about to give you something to aspire to. Our Star Crossed Kiss brings it. Rayne keeps the laughs coming, the drama flowing and the heartache brewing. From family feuds to burning love, Rayne continues her hot streak of unforgettable romance.

Star Crossed Lovers indeed!!! I’ve been intrigued by Seth Andrews since he appeared in My Beastie’s Ex, the first book in ‘The rooftop Crew’ series. He originally wasn’t even gonna get a story, as this was meant to be a three-part book deal. But, these characters demanded their own stage and Piper Rayne obliged. Now we have the story behind the break up of two best-of-friends families. Evan and Seth are stuck in the middle of the parents’ dispute and are drawn into the everyday running of their bagel shops. Neither of them wants this. When an opportunity arises to get out of the hole they find themselves in, they jump at it. Seth pretends he’s not crushing on Evan, but he’s fooling no one, least of all his friends. Evan is in the same boat. The friendship she shared with Seth when they were kids soon blossoms into a full-fledged attraction. It was a fun, light-hearted story most of the time. Seth is an all-round good guy. He’s fiercely protective too and loves with all his heart. Evan, although a more serious character, still had the ability to make me smile and I was rooting for her from the start. Watching these two characters win the day, was fun and made for an easy read. One you’re sure to enjoy when you One-Click your own copy.

4.5 Stars I love the Roof Top crew. They are such a great group. When I start a book from this series I just gobble it up. This book was no different. Through out the previous books we've gotten the set up for Seth and Evan's story. They are supposed to not like each other even though they were best friends when they were younger. Competing bagel places and a family feud have thrown them on opposing sides. Now a food competition has thrown the two together. I loved Seth and Evan. It did my heart good to see them find their friendship again. It shows how much this feud has truly impacted their lives. I love Seth's sense of humor. He's definitely the comedian oft the Roof Top crew. There were a few surprises that really made my heart happy sigh because it gave Seth and Evan a running chance at something real. Seth's grand gesture was really romantic to me. Even swoon worthy. The set up for the next book has me wanting to get my hands on it now!
