The author is less confident about his conclusions than I perceived. Title of book is so promising that I bought instantly, but the stuff inside is less promising. One cannot attempt to explain things under the domain of intelligence thru path of intellect.

About the author

CHARLES T. TART, Ph.D., is psychologist and parapsychologist who studies and is known for his work on the nature of consciousness. He is one of the founders of the field of transpersonal psychology. He worked as a professor emeritus of psychology at University of California at Davis for 28 years. He is the author of many books and articles, including Altered States of Consciousness and Transpersonal Psychology. In 1981, Tart received the James Randi Educational Foundation Media Pigasus Award.
