The nation of Japan is connected via wormhole to a place called the Holy Eldant Empire in a parallel fantasy world, but it├в┬А┬Щs turning out that might not be such a good thing: Bahairam, the next country over and Eldant├в┬А┬Щs sworn enemy, seems to be self-destructing!
Shinichi and his friends are there thanks to a prophecy from Myusel├в┬А┬Щs mother, Falmelle. Inside a secret military facility called the Dragon├в┬А┬Щs Den, they encounter a mysterious young woman named Theresa Bigelow. She claims to be a lieutenant with the North American Union. It turns out this is really a factory from the far future, and that the reactor that powers it is on the fritz! If it blows, it├в┬А┬Щs going to take Bahairam and Eldant with it. And Shinichi is supposedly the only one who can stop it. Can a simple otaku from Japan transform into the hero of a magical war?!
