Fabulous start to a new series! Joey thinks her whole life would be much better if she hadn’t been injured as a teen. A bargain with a faery prince allows her to go back to in time. Nicely developed characters and a nice twisty plot with no slow spots make for a delightful listen. The narrator is top notch. I enjoyed this audiobook and am looking forward to the next in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook and chose to write a voluntary, unbiased review.

I absolutely loved this story. After being fired from another job and the car breaking down Robin offers Joey the chance to alter her life for the better. Striking a bargain with a fae prince Joey tries to alter a significant moment in her past that she thinks wrecked her life. Knowing that once done, she will be called upon by the fae prince to fulfil her end of the bargain. This leads to much disaster and not what she envisioned. I loved all the characters and look forward to the next book.

Jennifer L Hart has joined the ranks of other great authors embracing the fact that women do still have a life once they turn 40. The character work in this book was well done and the story line had me laughing. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
