This book deserves an Olympic gold medal! What a fun and entertaining book! One of the best books I’ve read in a while - and I’ve read some great books! Which means this deserves 100 stars, not just a mere 5. I was won over within pages. Completely, totally won over. I found myself excited by the story and smiling a lot. There are bad books. There are okay books. There are good books. There are great books. And then there are exceptional books that stand out for all the right reasons. That stand out because you just want to dance in your seat with excitement. This is that kind of book. So exciting! Well written too. I don’t even know exactly what made this book so outstanding, but I guess that everything I love just came together in a perfect way: the writing style, the lighthearted tone, the relatable main character Joey (short for Josephine), the exciting plot, the fun element, the magic, the mindbogglingly amazing twists and turns. That all mixed together worked like a charm. And this author just gained a new fan, a huge fan! And at the end all I could think was W.O.W. WHAT A RIDE! Un.Put.Downable. Just so you know: this book is not completely ‘clean’. I know some readers would want to know that. Some cussing, some funny innuendos.
