About this ebook

'Mightily entertaining' - Heat

People ask me how come I'm still alive, and I don't know what to say. When I was growing up, if you'd have put me up against a wall with the other kids from my street and asked me which one of us was gonna make it to the age of sixty, with five kids and four grandkids and houses in Buckinghamshire and California, I wouldn't have put money on me, no f**king way. But here I am: ready to tell my story, in my own words, for the first time.

A lot of it ain't gonna be pretty. I've done some bad things in my time. But I ain't the devil. I'm just John Osbourne: a working class kid from Aston, who quit his job in the factory and went looking for a good time.

The stories are crazy and funny and by the end of the book you really fall in love with Ozzy. All right he is a nutter but hes nice guy and a family man at heart. After just finishing reading Steve Jobs 1000 page Biography this was so refreshing and fun. The book is short at 200 pages and I read inside of 2 days but I highly recommend it. This is the first book I have ever rated 5 stars... and it even has at least 4 typographical errors but the content far makes up for it.

A crazy train ride of hilarity and tragedy paint strippingly honest and pulled no punches. The Prince of Darkness still rocks as he rolls. Story of a legend, family man and a kid from the Midlands. If you want to laugh out loud no matter where you are buy this book. If you scare easily then.... buy this book sounds like you need some life experience even.

Enjoyed every word; no. An extraordinary life, complete with grotesque cruelty to animals. For this reason alone, I can't say Ozzy Osbourne is a decent person. Though, he did say he regretted that part of his early life. And it was bold to admit such cruelty. Other than this, an amazing read, yes.
