New Orleans is hot.

Remy Boudreaux is hotter.

...it's a perfect storm.

Remy Boudreaux is back in New Orleans with his fellow Dallas SWAT officers for a week of training with the NOLA PD. On the eve of a tropical storm, Remy and his buddies prowl the French Quarter. A tantalizing scent captures Remy's senses, forcing him to follow until he is face-to-face with Triana Bellamy—his beautiful high school crush.

Ever since Remy's partner—and first love—was killed on the job, he's kept women at a distance. As Remy and Triana grow closer, he struggles to keep things casual.

But when a mysterious wolf pendant ropes them both into danger, Remy's protective instincts kick in. He may have to reveal his true self...and hope that Triana can accept him as he is.

Back home in New Orleans for some tactical training with the local PD, Remy Boudreaux’s nose is seduced by the most enticing scent; he needs to know from whom it emanates, and it comes from his high school friend, Triana Bellamy, who has turned into a beautiful swan. Her scent overwhelms him, she might be his soul mate, but the love of his life was murdered in a most horrifying way and Remy does not want to get involved seriously again, but a sizzling affair, he can handle. Or can he? Even though WOLF HUNT is the sixth book in the SWAT series, it stands perfectly alone, as the setting is different and few references are made to the Dallas SWAT team. I couldn’t wait for Remy’s story, and yet it’s Triana who totally seduced me; she is a marvellous character, and her grandmother nearly steals the show, as does Max Lowry – a SWAT colleague of Remy’s in Dallas. The romance is lovely, but I was disappointed in Remy, as I barely detected the charming rogue he appeared to be in the previous books, and he upset Triana, and I disconnected a bit from the romance, although things turned out well later on, and it was done in a realistic manner. Strange to say, although the SWAT story is captivating, it is Triana’s I found more interesting. The action sequences are positively cinematic, the writing flawless, the dialogues excellent, but then again, this is normal from Paige Tyler. WOLF HUNT is more of a straightforward romantic suspense until the very end, and also rather light on the paranormal, until Paige Tyler stuns us. Again! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Okay, full disclosure! Remy is probably my favorite swat wolf. It takes some woman to meet up to my standards for him. Triana has my seal of approval. During a training stint in New Orleans, he reunites with his high school friend and she is all grown up in all the best ways. They both live in different parts of Texas but find each other in the home state. They immediately renew the friendship and step it up quickly. However, Remy backs off when he realizes how deep his feelings are. Not up to another loss. While he and the team are called on to help with an ongoing criminal problem, Triana digs into the unsolved murder of her father. Ms. Tyler presents us with another book filled with action, danger, loyalty, and plenty of steam. Abby Craden does a great job with the narration. As with all of the swat books I loved this one and listened in one day. A 5 star recommend from me.

Another great Swat series story. Some members of the Swat team go to New Orleans (NO) to do some training for the NO swat team. In the previous books in the series the team shifters have been find their One Fated Mate. One member, Remy, has had and lost his mate during a mission and doesn't want another. But when he arrives back in his hometown of NO he runs into a former class mate, Triana. and their attraction to each other cannot be denied. Trouble comes their way when they discover information concerning Triana's murdered father, that also involves life changing info concerning Triana herself. Pick up this terrific book and find out what happens between these two great characters, the secrets that will be revealed, and the life threatening danger it puts them in. If you love reading paranormal romance with danger and thrills this book is for you. Wolf Hunt can be read as a stand alone, but reading any of the previous books in the series really adds that extra punch and enhances each story in the series.
