One is a Promise

I really enjoyed the author's story telling. She is an excellent writer that made me root for a main characters whose personalities aren't what I usually like. I read all the books in the series, and mostly disagreed with everything that kept on happening in these characters rollercoaster of emotional turmoil. However, the writing kept me reading till the very end. The mark of an excellent writer.

One is a Promise is the first book in the tangled lies series. Oh. My. Goodness. This book was amazing. I don't know how Pam does it. She really makes it seem like it would be easy to write a book, especially a really amazing book. The depth of the characters and the crazy chemistry they have jumps off the pages. I am already counting down the days until I can get my hands on the next book. Danni is my spirit animal, I want to be just like her. She is bold, unafraid to say whats on her mind, and very empathetic. She is the heroine I have always looked for in a book. Even though she is broken she is still strong and fierce. Then there is Trace, the ever illusive, always scowling, sex on a stick Trace. The way that Danni talks to him cracked me up, she wasn't going to take any of his angry attitude without throwing some sass his way. So, this is where I have to stop because I will give the whole book away and I just can't do that to you. You will have to read it yourself. Trust me on this one, this is a book you don't want to miss. Can't wait for book two! I will definitely recommend to everyone I know.

First time romantic novel reading by this particular author , Pam Godwin centered around its main characters, Cole ,Trace, and the woman they both love, Danna. What happens when you believe your first true love has died in the midst of preparing your wedding and you find love with his complete opposite who happens to be HIS best friend ! I can't wait to see what happens in the sequels! Highly recommended read!
