Roger and his dad, Steve, had plans to go to see a Diamond Diggers baseball game on a Saturday afternoon in July. Worried that they would be late for the game, Roger moved all the clocks in the house back an hour. Problem was, he also moved the time on his dad’s antique watch that he was forbidden to touch. By doing so, Roger ended up on a wild and dangerous adventure that even he found hard to believe.

What a pleasure to read "A Step Out of Time" by an up and coming Canadian children's author, Pamela A. Black. Based on time travel, Roger and his Dad accidentally goes back in time to the age of the dinosaurs. While there he experiences a wild and exciting adventure full of twists and turns, this book kept my attention to the very end and I can't wait for the next adventure. Parents, teachers and children alike will enjoy this fun exciting read. This is a chapter book for children ages 7 - 12. I just received my copy of the book that you published "A Step Out of Time", it was EXCELLENT! I collect children's books and this one has it all! Adventure, family, education... it's a real page turner! I can't wait for the next adventure. Just the right length for your target audience and for parents/teachers reading to younger children. About the author
Pamela Black has always been an enthusiastic reader of a variety of books. As a mother of five, daily reading was a must. Visits to the library were a regular outing with the children when they were younger. Pamela’s one son diagnosed with Asperger’s had a real interest for dinosaurs, which inspired her to write her first book. She’s studied writing storybooks for children and plans to write more adventures like this one. She believes children should be introduced to reading at a very early age and finds it empowering when one develops a lifetime enjoyment for reading.
