ok, so really good story with so much bumbfluff. the book could been half the size honestly .its like they had a great idea but decided to make it a series....ffs I honestly will not buy the rest as its ruined by the over worded explanation of everything. get on with the story dam it

This, & part 2 -Judas Unchained make up one of my favourite epic space operas, one of my favourite galaxy spanning sagas, a favourite set of stories & one of my most loved fictional worlds. Stunning concepts, exceptionally well rendered into sublime storytelling.

Was going to write that Peter F Hamilton is one of the best SF authors there is but he is simply an incredible author overall. Pandora's Star is a great example of his mesmerising ability to build entire believable universes and fill them with amazing characters going on an even more amazing journey individually and together.
About the author
Peter F. Hamilton was born in Rutland in 1960 and now lives in Somerset. He began writing in 1987, and sold his first short story to Fear magazine in 1988. He has written many bestselling novels, including the Greg Mandel series, the Night’s Dawn trilogy, the Commonwealth Saga, the Void trilogy, The Chronicle of the Fallers, the Salvation Sequence, short story collections and several standalone novels including Fallen Dragon and Great North Road.
