Dr. Pardeep Singh is presently working as Assistant Professor (Department of Environmental Science, PGDAV College University of Delhi, New Delhi, India). He has obtained his master degree from Department of Environmental Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. He obtained his doctorate degree form Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi in. The area of his doctoral research is degradation of organic pollutants through various indigenous isolated microbes and by using various types of photocatalyst. He has published more than 45 papers in the international journals in the field of waste management.

Dr. Kangming Tian (China)
Dr. Kangming Tian is currently working as a Scientist at Tianjin University of Science and Technology, Tianjin, China. He has obtained his PhD degree in "Fermentation engineering" from Jiangnan University, Wuxi, China in 2013. His doctoral thesis work is focused biosynthesis of monomers for biodegradable materials production from crude glycerol. He has constructed genetic engineered strains for high purity D-lactic acid and high purity L-lactic acid fermentation for high-quality polylactic acid (PLA) production, the technology of the same has been transferred to the industry. He has published more than 20 research papers in the relevant field. His present research focus is on establishing and improving the new technology of metabolic engineering breeding for industrial microbial strain represented by the molecular switch. He is also currently working on the establishment and the application of new technology for large-scale production of efficient biocatalysts, and development of the new technologies for the production of functional oligosaccharides.
Dr. Anwesha Borthakur (Belgium)
Dr. Anwesha Borthakur is a Marie Skłodowska Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven) in Belgium. She had completed her PhD on electronic waste management from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India. Presently, she is working on E-waste policy approaches of India and South Africa as a part of her postdoctoral fellowship. She is an author of more than 35 peer-reviewed publications including research papers in high impact factored journals. Her research interests primarily involve waste or discard studies, science and technology policy and sustainability studies. She has been working on E-waste in India for nearly a decade now. She has travelled widely to take part and present her work in a number of recognized conferences/workshops/summer and winter schools in different parts of the world.
Pramit Verma
Pramit Verma is currently working as Senior Research Fellow at Institute of Environment & Sustainable Development, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He has done his M. Phil from the same institute in 2014. He is currently working in the field of Urban Ecology. He has also worked in the field of urban climate disaster risk reduction and management. He has published two research article and a technical report while participating in various national and international conferences, workshops and seminars. He is also working on the socioeconomic dynamics governing urban metabolism and urban land use in medium sized cities of India.
