Paris Permenter and John Bigley are a husband-wife team of travel writers. Longtime residents of Central Texas, they make their home in the Hill Country west of Austin, near Lake Travis.

John and Paris write frequently about Texas and other destinations for numerous magazines and newspapers. They also write a monthly column on day-trip travel for San Antonio's Fiesta magazine.
