About the author
Pat Thomas is a journalist and author, who specialises in healthcare and environmental issues. She is Editor of The Ecologist magazine and writes the popular monthly feature 'Read the Label'. Pat has written several books, including What's in this Stuff?, and she appears regularly on radio and television.
