About the author

A well-known Hindu monk and a chief disciple of Saint Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda was the prime force in raising awareness about Hinduism in major parts of the world. He also founded Ramakrishna Mission and Ramakrishna Math. He conducted numerous lectures about Hindu philosophy in US and Europe and was regarded as a patriotic saint.
