The contents of this series of books are excellent, however they do not achieve what they state. In the forwards to the books it clearly states that as audio is downloaded with the books you listen to the audio while still using the book. Unfortunately when listening to the audio which goes over to the next page, when you turn the page the audio stops. I have reported this to Google help but as yet had no reply. Luckily I have two Android devices so I can play the audio on one and turn the pages on the other, however this is far from acceptable.

As a self learner I find this a great and comprehensive studybook to obtain a proficient level of the German language. A must have for the avid language learner.

About the author
Heiner Schenke was Principal Lecturer in German at the University of Westminster for many years. He now works at the University of Oxford and as a private language consultant. He has taught German at all levels and is the author of several language and grammar books, including the Willkommen! series and Enjoy German.
