About this ebook

His guards lay dead, scattered about the prison and the building used as their headquarters. The prisoners had escaped. Gwaum turned towards the city that in his rage, he had destroyed. If there were humans still hiding there, they would be dead now. The city was useless as a hiding place.

A vengeful Gwaum turned his footsteps north, toward Mount Qui. He would pass the white peaked mountain and, using his Road of Terror, descend into Island World to wreak his vengeance.

Gwaum had consumed two wizards and their craft now resided within him. He needed a third wizard to complete his transformation into omnipotence. He would search out that other wizard and do battle. The battle of the two wizards would shape the course of Island World.

Thus, the forces for the final struggle had gathered. Bearl and his people struggled on the island of Eris. Arii had completed his wizard training and waited for the coming battle. He would need all his wizard craft to prevail. The end of his magic quest to destroy the monster was nearing.

The Covenant is the third part of the Tale of the White Rock - A Wizard Fantasy Series. Island World is a tumultuous, magic world dominated by a fearsome beast named Gwaum. Created by the craft of the dark wizard Darnay, Gwaum terrorized Island World, consuming the human inhabitants and destroying the Six Kingdoms. The Tale of the White Rock Wizard Fantasy Series chronicles the struggle of Gwaum and his nemesis Arii during their battle to dominate Island World.

There are four parts to the epic fantasy novel Tale of the White Rock. These are The Wizard of the Golden Star, the Rise of Gwaum, Promise of the White Rock and The Covenant.
