Dan Osborne has one ambition in life. He wants to be a permanent park ranger in Yellowstone National Park, a place where his family roots run deep. He'll do just about anything to make his dream a reality. When a pretty tourist tells him an incredible story about his ancestors, his dreams might be realized sooner than he hoped.
Jana Evans' best friend traveled back in time for true love. Not only is a weathered diary proof that she survived, so is the handsome park ranger standing before Jana now. Her immediate attraction to Aimee's descendant leaves her disturbed and confused, and she rushes back home to the safety of a normal life. An unexpected phone call months later from the very man she wanted to put out of her mind forces her back to Yellowstone. He has news that Aimee met with an untimely death. Is she willing to follow him 200 years into the past to save her best friend's life?
Dan is convinced that Jana holds the key to finding the device that makes time travel possible. He hasn't stopped thinking about her since their one brief encounter months ago. A journey into the past could not only set things in place for his own future, but it might also bring Jana back into his life. Will the truth about his motives shatter any chance they might have at love?

I never thought I'd be a writer, much less publish a book someday. I always wanted to be a veterinarian. I guess life just had other plans for me. When my husband and I decided to start a family, vet school pretty much went out the window. I used to work with a vet who had three children while going through vet school. To this day, she is my hero.
I'm married to my high school sweetheart, and together with our two sons, we make our home in Southern California. Our family also includes a Labrador Retriever, a welsh pony, a miniature horse, three cats, four bearded dragons, and a flock of laying hens. Almost every summer since my husband and I graduated from high school, we spend two weeks camping in Yellowstone National Park.
Four years ago, I began writing a story that, for whatever reason, was stuck in my head for almost a year. I have been an avid romance reader for a long time, and the idea took hold to - why not? - write my own!
It has been a long and difficult journey and learning experience from my first sentence to a completed, and hopefully polished, manuscript.
The story, titled Yellowstone Heart Song, is set in the Rocky Mountain region which today encompasses Yellowstone National Park. It takes place decades before the area was even known to white men, a time just after Lewis and Clark, before the mountain man era was in full swing.
The story has turned into the Yellowstone Romance Series, with five books and two novellas published to date, and more to come.
My other time travel romance series is called Second Chances, with three books published so far. I also completed a historical romance trilogy, called the Teton Romance Trilogy, which is set in the Grand Tetons and begins during the time of the Fur Trapper era.
I'm currently in the planning stages of another mountain man time travel series, which will be a spin-off of the Yellowstone Series, as well as a new series of western historical romance.
