My Billionaire Scrooge: Sweet Billionaire Romance

Skyla was pushy and stubborn and Nick was closed off and insensitive at times. I couldn't believe she chased him into the men's room to try to get him to donate to her shelter. There is an anti-homelessness vibe in this book, not from Skyla and the people that live and work at Hope House, but from just about everyone else. The mayor kept wanting to close the shelter and send the residents out of town and Nicholas couldn't understand why they didn't just look for work and better themselves. Skyla was so focused on her way of seeing and doing things, hadn't read any of Nick's books but still judged him for them, and didn't seem to explain very well to Nick why she had so many residents in her shelter. I agree with his point that they should be working with the residents to help them move on. I laughed over the sweet Christmas play with all the angels and loved precocious little Bianca with her pirate patch.

Enjoyable read! The interaction between Nick and Skyla is great! Nick can’t quite figure her out. Does he want to be with her or stay away from her and the same with Skyla! Neither are sure. I would recommend the book.
