Since the Pennsylvania Dutch Country is a favored vacation destination, postcard publishers have produced scenes of the everyday life of the plain people since the beginning of the twentieth century. Author Tom Range Sr., a tax accountant and avid postcard collector, has been writing articles of historic interest that are illustrated exclusively from his collection of more than 15,000 postcards. He is a member of the Washington Crossing Card Collectors Club in Titusville, New Jersey.
