Kendall Ryan does it again. What an amazing story. Ten years ago they were boyfriend and girlfriend. Then he left and never looked back. But never forgot her. Now he is a real estate tycoon and a single father of an adorable 2 year old. And in desperate need of a nanny. When Lex approaches Corrigan with her becoming Grier’s nanny for the summer she really doesn’t know if she should accept. She cannot forget how he broke her heart. Lex realizes that 10 years ago he was just a boy and ran because he was scared. Now he is a successful businessman and knows what and who he wants. He never forgot Corrigan and he wants her now more than anything. I finished this story in one sitting. It is that fantastic. Unable to put it down for even a second. A straight forward honest to goodness love story. Throw in an adorable 2 year old little girl and you have the making of a 5+ star read.

Single parent families and second chance romances are at the top of my reading list and Penthouse Prince gave me both of those genres in one entertaining read, this book was always going to be on my radar, as soon as I read the blurb I knew I would love it but this story was so much more that I expected, it captivated me and drew me in from the first page and there was no putting down until I had read the final line. Lexington Drake walked away years ago but he took a piece of Corrigan’s heart with him and now he is back in town and that means facing the woman who’s heart he broke. His priorities have changed over the years and now the number one girl in his life is Grier his adorable daughter. Can this couple get over the hurts from the past and make a future together...... This book ticked all my boxes, I loved the characters and I loved their story, the chemistry is sizzling, the banter witty but truth be told it was an amazing little girl named Grier that stole the show, she delivered some classic one liners that only a child can do justice to, I laughed, I swooned and I fell hook, line and sinker for Lexington, Corrigan and Grier. A swoon worthy single father, a strong woman and a adorable little girl, what more can you ask for.

Wonderful second chance, single dad romance. Lexington and Corrigan fell in love as teenagers but fear pushed them apart. Lexington has found great success in his career and now is challenged with being a single dad. He loves his daughter, Grier, but when his mom’s health starts to fail, he knows he needs to return to his hometown. Corrigan had her heart crushed by Lexington so seeing him again, she really just wants to understand why he left her. When he needs her help to watch his daughter, she knows she should say no but her love for children has her saying yes. These two don’t have an easy road. Trust was broken and Lexington has to earn that with Corrigan if he truly wants her back in his life full-time. Corrigan never stopped loving Lexington but can she trust that he won’t leave again. I loved how this story unfolded. It wasn’t a quick, yes you can come back to me. As with all relationships, you have to work at them and both parties have to be invested so I appreciated that honesty in this journey.
