"Pepe and the Tortugas"...is an interesting simple, educational short story told through the eyes of children that will help bring awareness to saving the sea turtles off the coast of Mexico, in the Yucatan Peninsula. The young readers learn how everyday people are offering up their time freely. The people are helping to protect the sea turtles and they want others to know the importance of protecting the sea turtles, before they become an endangered species. The young readers are also able to have fun with this book by learning some new Spanish words. Children love to learn. While this book is directed towards children, adults of all ages will enjoy it too. It's a great book for older children to read on their own and younger ones will love it also while you read it with them...

Quelques mots sur l'auteur
Linda A. Martin... is the eldest of two children and she was born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba in the middle of Canada, the same city where she raised her own two children. Worked her very first job as a long distance telephone operator with M.T.S. Then she managed a small hotel in the city of Winnipeg. She went on to study psychology at the University of Winnipeg later on in life, to help fill the void after her children had grown and now she spends most of her winters in Mexico.
