He has written more than a dozen books about Philadelphia sports, including The Phillies Encyclopedia, Phillies Essential, and Tales from the Phillies Dugout, and has contributed articles to such publications as Sports Illustrated, The Sporting News, and the Philadelphia Inquirer.
