About the author

Philip Wylie has written, edited and published ten non-fiction guidebooks since 1990, as well as writing articles for periodicals and e-books. He learned the craft of report-writing during his employment with two Top Four firms of accountants, including Ernst & Young International, where he editing the firm’s taxation newsletter. Philip published his own innovative guidebooks and advertising-based directories in London since 1990. Philip’s seminal Holistic Network Directory was distributed to W.H. Smith, Waterstones and all major bookstores in UK. In 2007, after working as a business advisor and real estate broker in Northern Thailand, Philip contracted with Paiboon Publishing to write a business guidebook for Thailand. Philip’s book, How to Establish a Successful Business in Thailand, is still Thailand’s best-selling and most respected guidebook for foreign business in Thailand. In 2008, Philip contracted with a Singaporean publisher to publish a book about cross-culture relationships. Since 2007, Philip published his own guidebooks, including How to Make a Living in Paradise, under his Impetus imprint. Therefore, Philip has extensive experience of writing for successful publication using external publishers as well as his own self-publishing house. Currently Philip is developing his POD publishing and distribution network in Southeast Asia, and enabling authors and small publishers to exploit this marketplace.
