About this eBook

A group of dragons traveled from Scotland to the New World a millennium ago to guard a treasure that none could know of. Their homes and lives are hidden from the world of humans and supernatural beings.

Until Pierce saves the life of a woman during an avalanche. And now he’s put the entire legacy on the line.

Jasmine isn’t your average girl. She’s a part of the fae. And now some damned dragon gave her his blood to heal her. Didn’t he realize that dragon’s blood is toxic to the fae?

His dragon brethren don’t care if she lives or dies—actually, they’d just as soon as uncomplicate matters and see her dead.

But that’s not so easy for her or the dragon that saved her.

A character has to have *some* kind of redeeming quality in order for the reader to *want* to relate to them. Sadly, neither the male nor female lead have any. I was kind of wishing they'd both die and save me the trouble of having to read any further. I especially dislike the "petulant, bratty toddler" type being foisted off as a "strong, independent female". Independent means being able to take care of yourself. Which also requires the intelligence and wisdom of knowing when you can't do something without help or when someone else needs to take the lead because they understand a situation better than you do. The female lead is not independent, she is a spoiled rotten, ungrateful c*nt. I was amazed she didn't stomp her foot and yell, "You're not the boss of me!" As for the male lead, I get that they don't communicate much with anyone aside from family, but it isn't hard to hold back from being a complete ass. Even just a little. So, not only did they both have no redeeming qualities, their whole fated mate thing was unbelievable. They'd hate each other for eternity and live simply to make the other miserable. No thanks.
