Fanning the Biker's Flame

Absolutely my favorite read of the week! As with all of the DOF books, this is a sweet romance, with just enough of the MC side to keep the story line moving. The guys are just alpha enough, but still treat their women like the queens they are! It makes for a fabulous "wish I were her" romance! Shadow has his life just where he wants it. He's earned his patch in the brotherhood. He's earned his place in the FD. He's living his best life. A chance meeting due to lack of cooking skills, lets him know, he can might everything he ever wanted, but life can still get better! Posey (I adore that name!) has a nack for stumbling into trouble! But sometimes, trouble leads to more happiness than she ever thought was possible! These two! Their HEA is one of the best! I love, love, love their connection, their spark, their chemistry! This is a sweet story, with the insta-love I enjoy so much, but with enough danger and intrigue to keep the story moving, and unpredictable enough to keep me guessing! This is everything I love in an MC romance, and so much more!

I am not quite sure what has left a more lasting impression, Shadow's dedication to Posey or the author blowing my mind by doing to completely unexpected. I want to sit back down and readFanning the Biker's Flame again. The members of Savannah Chapter play an important part within the story. YAY!! All those yummy bikers. When Shadow needs their help to protect Posey they are there. When she needs a place to stay they are there. They are family that wear cuts. The question is will she let them in. Will she become part of the family? Posey meets Shadow by chance. Her range catches on fire because she is a clueless cook. Shadow is one of the firefighters that has to keep a straight face. The next day, he is the contractor that comes to bid on the fire damage repair. Shadow's protective instincts kick in. It doesn't hurt that she is hot and he is hotter. Soon the biker is turning super alpha male and it is a really good thing. Posey needs help. Posey needs protection. Posey needs someone to watch her back. Shadow is the perfect man for the job
