Brock & Bailey: triggers- drugs, kidnapping, trafficking. This book was just okay. It needs a lot of editing to clean it up a bit. There's a lot of jumping around with no Segway to move the reader smoothly into that part of the story. So there are moments where we're in the present, then all of a sudden the story will switch to something else and we don't know if it's a memory or a dream before poof, we're back in the present. The author also does this with time jumping as well. Whether it's the next day, a week later, a month or a year. The jump just happens out of the blue. The story has potential except for that. It's an interesting concept but the plot twist wasn't really a twist because it wasn't a surprise or shock leaving the suspense to be just kind of blah. However, I will give the bill 🌶️🌶️🌶️ for the sexy moments.
