Operation Bailey Birthday is a novella celebrating Grandma Dori’s 90th and it’s certainly a poignant ending to the Bailey series. The great grand children have their say and we are delighted by the beautiful family dynamic. Dori is without a doubt this amazing matriarch of the family and her quirks always give you a laugh. She deserves everything especially with what she has had to put up with. It may be sad to see these characters go, however exciting times ahead for new series to come from the authors.

I absolutely have loved the Baileys from the get go! And to read this bittersweet novella, with the multiple POV's, was just the cherry on top of Great-grandma Dori's birthday cake! To read each chapter was a lovely glimpse into the future of this family and Lake Starlight. So many openings for more stories. A lovely, but too brief introduction to the Greene family. This novella was too short but was wonderfully done! As are all of the novellas that this dynamic duo! Do yourself a favor and read this whole series! You will thank me for it! I will always love the Bailey family, and I know I will fall in love with the next book that Piper Rayne puts out next!

‘Cue’ wiping of many, many tears!!! The Baileys series is finally over and I’m sad, but oh so happy too. I loved this novella and hated when it ended. But what a way to go!! It’s a sad day for all, but Piper Rayne went all out with this amazing, heartfelt novella. With a glimpse fifteen years or so into the future, we get to see what life has brought for G’ma D and her grandkids. Each chapter is narrated by one of the older great-grandkids and it’s such a fun read. The kids are a blast, the Baileys still as in love as when they had their own stories. I laughed, cried, ground my teeth in frustration and ultimately swooned over and fell in love with all of the characters that Piper Rayne has so lovingly crafted for us to enjoy. This last novella was the perfect finish to the series. Next up is ‘The Greenes’ and maybe… just maybe, we’ll catch a little more of our beloved Bailey’s there too.
