The One I Left Behind

This book is definitely a classic love story for second chance romance just like they said in the book description but the story also has so much more to offer. For me, it has everything I love inside. Small town - checked Second chance - checked Ranching lifestyle - checked (Kind of) Sports romance - checked A group of close family and friends - checked And after I finished reading this book, I didn't even know what I want more from Piper and Rayne because I think it's perfect. Yes, there is a drama and an angsty out there but they also make me smile and laugh in between. I can feel so much love in the story. It isn't just a couple love though but Ben needs to make amends with his family too. I know that the next book is about Jude and Sadie which is his best friend and I'm game for it because friends to lovers romance is one of my favorite tropes but I have to confess that I'm quite fond of Emmett and can't wait for a time when he meets his match because it's going to be an epic

Loved Ben and Gillian's second chance romance. Robert Hatchet and CJ Bloom were amazing narraters. Ben leaves his home town and Gillian behind to become a proffessional football player.Now he has retired and come back home. He realises he is still in love with Gillian and wants a second chance. Ben broke Gillian's heart and she is reluctant to give him a second chance.She isn't the only one who will get hurt if he leaves again.She is a single mum now and has to protect her son Clayton. Ben and Gillian start over and take things slow.With help from family and friends along the way. They get to their happily ever after. Loved the small town vibes,family support,friendships,chemistry,romance and the happily ever after. Enjoyed listening to every single minute of Ben and Gillian's second chance romance and meeting everyone. Cannot wait for Sadie and Jude's story and more family shennanigans. A must read for any small town romance lover and bonus if you love ranch romance. Ben and Gillian's second chance romance packed so much swoony sexy heartwarming goodness. It's everything that makes Piper Rayne a master of small town contemporary romance. An epic couple with a heart wrenching love story finding happily ever after. Big family dynamics.
