Susan Tilson
I would love to spend a day inside Pippa DaCosta’s head. She has such a tremendous ability to make you feel her characters, mind, body and soul. The world she has created for this series sucks you in, so you are a part of each and every part she has imagined. You are more than a fly of the wall, you feel like you are living and breathing the very same air. Every object of worry, anxiety, grief, caution and hate is felt in your bones. You cannot fault the well defined writing and imagination of this storyline, I can’t even explain how my heart pounds with the characters, the tears I shed, the smile of sassiness that sometimes comes from Kesh. In book.2. You feel like you are just finally beginning to understand the depths of their character giving you an idea of what they will do next, then whoosh! No! They go off in a totally different direction. It feels like the set of a movie that is constantly changing, with more suspense and pure evil characters taking part in the storyline. My heart ached for kesh, Talen and Kellee. Kesh has been mentally damaged, the men in there own way have suffered with persecution. Just there names incite death threats, every situation they find themselves in, threatens to end there lives. This book has been expertly crafted within the Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Paranormal genre with a storyline that radiates issues of trust, terror, suspense, acceptance with three main characters that fight for each other, then tear each other apart. Now the Fae being sent for them are getting stronger and More brutal, the Lies have been Vivid and intense with the power to annihilate the present, future and past. This book has been carefully crafted to burrow into your consciousness, test your imagination and become your world until the last word. 5 stars are not enough to rate this book.
