About the author

Piyush Nayyer started writing poetry and songs in 2015. Since then, writing has always been his escape. It gives him peace and satisfaction. He is greatly inspired by American singer-songwriter, Taylor Swift. "please don't go through it" was his debut poetry book which he released in 2020. It explains Piyush's story of rediscovering his happiness and shutting those mean voices in his head that once suffocated and caused him pain. It's about his battle with overthinking.

In 2021, Piyush released his second poetry book, "moving forward but where am I headed?" which is about moving on to a new world of light and hope. It is basically based on the idea of accepting, confronting, and making peace with ourselves. Piyush describes his second book as a road trip. It's his journey from denial to acceptance, from self-doubt to self-love.

Moving forward to 2022, Piyush published his third book, "Up to the sky". A poetry book that revolves around the themes of escape, confessions, sins, maturity, curiosity, and nostalgia. Up to the sky is Piyush's best creation to date. A book that will make you feel alive, high, joyful, and free. Don't just dream of flying high, spread your wings and head up to the sky!
