I didn't love this book. Calla is in financial dire straits and must sell the home that her father gifted her with. Dom is prepared to buy the house, but only if she spends 10 days with him on his terms. He is bent on revenge for abandoning him when they were young. Even though I knew there was a reason for him (plot-wise) treating her coldly and callously, I just couldn't get into him as a character because of it.

Ten years ago they shared a steamy night together that ended badly, fast forward Calla is almost broke and needs to sell her house, the buyer is none other than Dom but also wants ten days with her. Can she keep her emotions hidden. The story is set in Miami, loved the descriptions.

"The Devil You Know" by Mimi Wells is the story of Domnhall "Dom" Cameron and Calla Stewart. They had a spring break romance that didn't end well, which was ten years ago. The last time they saw each other the police had Dom in handcuffs and they were stuffing him in a police car. Dom has come a long way. He is now known as the, Devil of the Pitch, and is now an international football star with millions. Calla is down on her luck and if she doesn't sell her home, she is going to lose everything. Calla and Dom paths cross again. They both had a different memory of that night ten years ago. Dom makes Calla an offer that she can't refuse even if it means ten days at his command. This is a story about overcoming their issues from childhood and a second chance at love. Even though it has been ten years and they didn't part on good terms, there is still an intense attraction to each other. Will Dom and Calla be able to put the past behind them and take a chance on love? I really enjoyed this story. I loved the characters and the supporting characters too. Hopefully, there will be other books that continue with some of the supporting characters. FYI, contains mature content. I received a copy of this book from Tule Publishing for an honest review.
