3.75⭐ Playing with Trouble was a sweet, light and easy-to-read romance between single mum Jane and injured rugby star Cole. Yet, if I'm being honest, I didn't feel there was much of a connection between Jane and Cole, and frankly, I didn't find Jane the most endearing of characters. But I really loved Cole and Finn, Jane's 4-year-old son, was adorable and easily stole almost every scene he was in. And for me, it's those two who made this story worth reading. ** I was kindly provided with an ARC via Entangled Publishing in exchange for an honest review**

4.5 Stars I will read anything Amy Andrews writes, but this book had me at single mom and former rugby player. Oh my gosh little Finn is so adorable. The scenes with Finn and Cole melted my heart and ovaries may have exploded. I wish I could find a Cole for myself. That man is super yummy. I couldn't out this book down. I also enjoyed some cameos from some of my favorite residents of Credence. Jane is super independent and making her mark in a male dominated field. She's pretty inspiring. She has a nun like life, but when Cole enters her life she is sent into a tailspin. Cole and Jane have a ton of chemistry and they just made me happy. The epilogue was just perfect and made my heart happy sigh. I would highly recommend this one.

The Credence series hasn’t really been my jam but I loved the Sydney Smoke series so I was excited for this crossover. Finn absolutely made this book for me. That little boy stole every scene and every moment he showed up in and if it wasn’t for hope unbelievably adorable he was, I probably would have DNF’d this book. It took me so long to get into it and even then, I skimmed a lot.
