Jade began her quest to complete the Polar Hat Trick in April 2016 when she was fourteen. She became the youngest person to ski to the North Pole from anywhere outside the last degree - the point where most people begin - and was named Australian Geographic Societyâs Young Adventurer of the Year. But that was just the beginning. In June of 2017, she became the youngest woman to complete the crossing of Greenland, the second largest ice cap on the planet. On January 11, 2018, she arrived at the South Pole after an epic 37 day journey through Antarctica, becoming the youngest person to ski to both Poles and the youngest person to complete the Polar Hat Trick.
This book will motivate and encourage young people to follow their dreams, no matter how impossible they may seem.

Jade Hameister is a 16-year-old student from Melbourne, Australia who loves being active and the outdoors. In addition to her polar feats, Jade has delivered a TEDx Talk in August 2016 and in early 2017, and she's appeared on "The Today Show" with Megyn Kelly. Jade is passionate about shifting the focus for young women from how they appear to the possibilities of what they can do and also about raising awareness about the impact of climate change on the Earth's beautiful and fragile polar regions.
