Postdigital Dialogues on Critical Pedagogy, Liberation Theology and Information Technology presents a series of dialogues between Peter McLaren, a founding figure of critical pedagogy, and Petar Jandric, a transdisciplinary scholar working at the intersections between critical pedagogy and information technology. The authors debate the postdigital condition, its wide social impacts, and its relationship to critical pedagogy and liberation theology, as part of a transdisciplinary effort to develop a new postdigital revolutionary consciousness in the service of humanity. Peter McLaren is Distinguished Professor in Critical Studies at Chapman University, USA, and Co-Director of the Paulo Freire Democratic Project and International Ambassador for Global Ethics and Social Justice. He is also Emeritus Professor of Urban Education, UCLA, USA, and Emeritus Professor of Educational Leadership, Miami University of Ohio, USA. He is also Honorary Director of the Center for Critical Studies in Education in Northeast Normal University, China. He is the author/editor of over forty books including Pedagogy of Insurrection (2015).
Petar Jandric is Professor of Digital Learning and Programme Director of BSc Informatics at the Zagreb University of Applied Sciences, Croatia, and visiting Associate Professor at the University of Zagreb, Croatia. He is the author/editor of six books including The Digital University: A Dialogue and Manifesto (2018).
