The story of Thomas Briggs is one of faith and perseverance. As George followed the promptings of the Spirit, he was able to remove barriers to baptism and touch the hearts of many who otherwise would not have joined the church.

The conversion story of John Anderson, written by his daughter is given. A baby born to a mother of advanced age as a result of a promise in a priesthood blessing proves there is nothing the Lord cannot do for His faithful saints.

As and elder in Europe, John P. Hayes was preaching in a public area when a publican enticed a drunkard to harass him. This short story testifies of the fulfillment of the resulting prophecy given by Elder Hayes.
