At first I was really looking forward to reading the continuation of Hester's and Tom's adventures. Some parts intrigued me, but the last few chapters spoiled the whole story for me. Now I'll have to force myself to read the rest of the books, because I already bought the whole series.

A good follow-up to Mortal Engines. It takes a bit to warm up to some of the new characters, but the story had a great third act.
