Acerca del autor

Rudolph E. Tanzi, Ph.D is a neurologist, noted for his work in identifying genes for neurological disease. He co-discovered all three genes that cause early-onset familial Alzheimer's Disease. His distinguished career includes Professor of Neurology and holder of the Joseph P. and Rose F. Kennedy Endowed Chair in Neurology at Harvard University, Vice-Chair of Neurology and Director of the Genetics and Aging Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital, and currently leads the Alzheimer's Genome Project. He has published numerous scientific papers and is working on new therapies for treating and preventing Alzheimer's Disease based on his genetic discoveries. He is co-author of the books Decoding Darkness: The Search for the Genetic Causes of Alzheimer's Disease, Super Brain: Unleashing the Explosive Power of Your Mind to Maximize Health, Happiness, and Spiritual Well-Being, and Super Genes: Unlock the Astonishing Power of Your DNA for Optimum Health and Well-Being.
