Об электронной книге

“This great subject has been the theme of apostles and prophets, and of all good men in all ages of the world; and my desire in sending forth this little volume is to encourage God’s children to seek by prayer ‘to move the arm that moves the world.’”—Extract from Preface.

Prevailing Prayer: What Hinders It?, by one of the greatest evangelists of all times, covers the main arteries of prayer such as adoration, confession, restitution, thanksgiving, forgiveness, unity, faith, petition, submission and answered prayers.

An earnest and solemn work, this classic is full of helpful hints on the aids and hindrances to prevailing prayer and is a must for all believers who are serious about their walk with God.

Об авторе

Dwight L. Moody (1837-1899)

American Evangelist.

Born in Northfield, Massachusetts.

Through the influence of his Sunday school teacher, he was converted to Christ.

During the Civil War he threw himself into work among the soldiers and Sunday school work.

Moody visited the British Isles three times and total attendances at his campaigns in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and London reached more than three million. Back in the United States Moody established many schools, together with what later became known as the Moody Bible Institute.

It has been calculated that he traveled more than a million miles and addressed more than one hundred million people, preaching the gospel and encouraging God’s people to seek by prayer to move the arm that moves the world.
