I love the way this story played out, showing shifters with a different set of rules than human society. Liam Morrissey is a man who knows his own strengths and weaknesses, while Kim has a strong belief in justice for anyone and all. They come together when a young woman is supposedly killed by her shifter boyfriend , and Kim takes on the case.

Not usually into animal shifter books but this one had a plot, a strong but gentle hero to make u melt and some interesting side characters. A good read

This was an amazing set-up for the series! Kim is no pushover, and Liam has depths that he hides underneath his jovial veneer. The way these two interacted was always full of sparks, but there an underlying tenderness, even at the roughest moments. It was awesome how Kim had to get used to all the hugs! These two needed to be mated, they complimented each other way too perfectly not to be <3
